You become eligible to apply for Tuition Assistance after working 8 weeks at a minimum of 20 hours per week. After the 8-week waiting period has passed, you will receive a link to apply.

We aim to be as flexible as possible when scheduling your shifts. As long as your shift falls within our hours of operation, we work with you to find what best fits your availability. Depending on the business needs and your preference, you can choose from full-day shifts, part-time shifts, or what we call split shifts (where your shift is divided into two parts throughout the day).

Depending on the line of business, scheduling may vary. Some departments schedule shifts at the beginning of each month, while others may follow a week-to-week schedule. We try our best to accommodate student availability whenever possible.

Success in this role starts with showing up ready to learn and grow. At Education at Work, we’re here to empower students to gain real-world experience while balancing their education. That means being open to feedback, staying curious, and taking ownership of your development. In this professional setting, strong communication, reliability, and a customer-first mindset will take you far. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to build the skills and confidence that will serve you well beyond college. Stay engaged, ask questions, and lean into growth.

Yes! After working at E@W for four consecutive months, you become eligible for an Educational Leave of Absence (LOA). This allows you to temporarily leave your position to complete your internship and return to your job once the internship is finished.
